Coming soon

Keep trading when the internet doesn't.

A desktop till app built for load-shedding and patchy connections. Coming soon.

Offline Till App, in short

The POSly offline till app is in development and not yet available. It is a Windows till that keeps trading when the internet is down, prints straight to a receipt printer and opens the cash drawer, then syncs every transaction when the connection comes back.

What changes on day one.

“When the router goes down with the power, the till goes with it.”

Coming soon: the desktop till keeps working on the store computer and catches up with the cloud when the connection returns.

“Stock gets deducted twice after a connection drop.”

Coming soon: every transaction syncs once, so stock is deducted exactly once when it reaches POSly.

“Today, a drop mid-sale means starting again.”

Live today on the newer browser till: the cart is kept when the connection drops, and a retry never creates a duplicate sale.

What's included.

Some areas are switched on per business, and your plan, settings and staff permissions decide who sees what.

  • Coming soon: Windows desktop till with a local database
  • Coming soon: cash and standalone card-machine transactions while the internet is down
  • Coming soon: silent receipt printing and cash drawer kick
  • Coming soon: automatic sync per till, with stock deducted exactly once
  • Live today: cart recovery and duplicate-safe retry on the newer browser till

Common questions.

When will the offline till app be available?

It is in development and will be marked live on this page when it is released. Until then POSly needs an internet connection, and the newer till keeps the cart safe if the line drops.

What happens today if the internet drops during a sale?

On the newer browser till, switched on per business, the cart is kept when the connection drops and a retry never creates a duplicate sale. Finishing the sale still needs the connection back.

Will the offline till work with a card machine?

The planned desktop till is being built to record cash and standalone card-machine sales while the internet is down. It is not available yet.

How will sales made offline reach POSly?

The planned desktop till will sync each till automatically when the connection returns, with stock deducted exactly once.
