Every rand in the drawer, accounted for.
Card machines that talk to the till, and cash-ups that explain themselves.

Payments, Card Machines & Cash-Ups, in short
POSly records every way a customer pays: cash, card, split payments, account and layby payments. Integrated card machines send the amount straight from the till, and the end-of-day cash-up compares what was counted with what was expected.
What changes on day one.
“The cashier types the wrong amount into the card machine.”
With an integrated FNB card machine, the till sends the amount to the terminal. The sale can be set to require the machine's confirmation before it completes.
“The card machine is down and the queue is growing.”
An offline card sale can be approved by a manager with the slip reference recorded, so nothing is waved through without a name on it.
“Cash-ups don't balance and nobody knows why.”
Count by denomination. POSly shows counted against expected, and a note is required whenever they differ.
What's included.
Some areas are switched on per business, and your plan, settings and staff permissions decide who sees what.

- Switched on per business: manager-approved offline card sales with the slip reference recorded
- Cash register open and close with denominations and cash in and out movements
- Variance cash-up: counted versus expected, with a required note when they differ

Common questions.
Which card machines work with POSly?
POSly integrates with FNB card machines through Transaction Junction. Each till can be linked to its own terminal. Other card machines can still be used, with the card payment recorded on the till.
How does the cash-up work?
At close, staff count the drawer by denomination. POSly compares the count with what the sales say should be there, and asks for a note if the two differ.
Can a customer pay with more than one method?
Yes. One sale can be split across cash, card, a second card, cheque, bank transfer and up to three custom payment methods, and a payment can be added later.
What happens if the card machine can't confirm a sale?
Where it is switched on, a manager can approve an offline card sale and the slip reference is recorded against it. Otherwise the sale can be set to wait for the card machine's confirmation.
Can I reconcile card payments per till?
Yes. Card payments are reconciled per register, and a card payments report lists them.
